BACCHANALE

Bacchanale is a dazzling group of professional musicians renowned for giving dynamic concerts characterised by energy, humour and performances of the highest quality.

Formed by Miranda Lisk in 2004, they have been taking our breath away with brilliant concerts by brilliant performers, yet all done with informality and fun.

"I named the ensemble Bacchanale after 'a scene in opera of intoxication and debauchery' as that, to me, summed up much about musicians at play!" said Miranda.

2009 SUMMER CONCERT

Despite fears about the weather, the planned 'Opera in a Garden' succesfully took place on 18 July - The Marriage of Figaro performed to the usually high standard by singers and musicians alike.
